Latest Acquisition: Jimi Hendrix Experience Drum Kit

The Musicians Hall Of Fame is proud to announce one of our latest acquisition’s, The 1967 Silver Sparkle Ludwig drum kit belonging to Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell. This was Mitchell‘s favorite set of drums and was used on countless concerts and recording sessions. They can be seen on YouTube at the Miami Pop Festival as well as numerous European TV shows.

Another famous concert where these drums can be seen was June 4th,1967 at the Saville Theater in London when the Jimi Hendrix Experience performed Sgt. Pepper only three days after it’s release in front of Paul McCartney and George Harrison along with other British rock stars. This Ludwig kit will be permanently on exhibit at the Musicians Hall of Fame in our new Jimi Hendrix exhibit starting January 2018.
